Observations before
recommendations. Always.
We spend time understanding how your team actually works before we suggest where AI might help — or where it plainly should not.
Three frames of engagement
Each engagement is sized to what your team can reasonably absorb. We work at your pace, document what we see, and transfer responsibility carefully.
Focused Observation Engagement
A half-day on-site visit to one chosen process. We observe, take notes, and prepare a written report describing what we saw and where — if anywhere — AI assistance might be considered. We are comfortable recommending no change at all.
- Half-day on-site observation
- Written observational note delivered
- Honest, unbiased recommendations
Targeted AI Workflow
We build one AI-supported workflow alongside your team — a draft-reply helper, document extraction tool, or internal Q&A assistant. Includes a written specification, build phase, a four-week trial with staff, and a clear written handover.
- Written specification reviewed first
- Four-week staff trial period
- Complete written handover document
Multi-Workflow Engagement
A multi-month engagement across one or two business functions. Fortnightly sessions, written progress notes, governance, training, vendor coordination, and quarterly reviews of which capabilities should remain or be retired.
- Fortnightly working sessions
- Governance and staff training included
- Closing written report with year-ahead view
Considered from the start
Observation Before Prescription
We spend time watching how your work actually happens before we suggest anything. Recommendations follow observation, not the other way around.
Everything in Writing
Every engagement produces clear written documentation — what we observed, what we built, how it behaves, and the conditions under which it should not be relied upon.
Responsibility Transferred to You
We do not create dependencies on our continued involvement. Operational responsibility is transferred to your team with proper training and documentation.
Honest About Limitations
We write clearly about where AI should not be relied upon. Handover documents describe failure conditions, not only capabilities.
Paced to Your Operations
Engagements are structured around your team's rhythm. We do not set the pace — you do. Fortnightly sessions, not weekly pressure.
Prepared to Recommend Nothing
If the right answer after careful observation is to leave things alone, we will say so clearly. Our value is in honest counsel, not in selling integrations.
Would an outside view help your team?
A brief conversation about your current processes costs nothing. We will tell you candidly whether we think we can add something of value.
Questions we hear often
Do we need to have a clear AI strategy before approaching you?
No. Most teams we work with are at an earlier stage — curious about AI but uncertain where it belongs in their work. The Single Frame engagement is specifically designed for that moment. We observe first and help you form a view, rather than assume one exists.
How long does a typical engagement take?
The Single Frame is completed in a day, with the written note delivered within a week. The Triptych Build spans roughly six to eight weeks including the trial period. The Gallery Programme runs over multiple months and is paced to your operational calendar. We do not rush engagements.
What kinds of tasks does AI typically assist with?
Draft correspondence, structured extraction from incoming documents, internal search across documented knowledge, and routine summarisation tasks are among the more reliable uses we have encountered. We are candid about tasks where AI assists poorly, and those are often as important to identify as the successful ones.
Will you recommend AI even when it is not the right fit?
We will not. A Single Frame engagement may result in a written note that recommends no change at all. We state this clearly in our description of each engagement. The value of careful observation is precisely that it might confirm things are working well enough without AI involvement.
How is client data handled during engagements?
Data handling terms are documented in writing before any engagement begins. We specify which data is accessed, under what conditions, and for how long. We follow Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act requirements and document our compliance approach in the written specification that precedes build work.
What happens after the engagement ends?
We prepare a written handover document that your team can reference independently. For the Gallery Programme, a closing report describes the state of each workflow and offers considered recommendations for the year ahead. We aim to leave your team better equipped to manage AI tools without ongoing reliance on us.
